The Aesthetic industry is currently unregulated within the UK. Like many authorised training providers, our curriculum has been assessed and approved by cosmetic indemnity providers who provide recognition & authorisation of indemnity. With this status being held, we can not be held responsible if:
• The guidelines change.
• There are further requirements for future qualification which are not met by Derma Medical’s training structure.
Level 7 Courses:
The Level 7 Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine is regulated by Industry Qualifications (IQ) on behalf of Ofqual. Derma Medical are not responsible for the specification of this qualification or any changes made to the qualification moving forward. It may be necessary for us to adjust our training courses accordingly to accommodate any amendments.
Delegates attending our Supervised Treatment Days are subject to the same cancellation policy as all our training courses. Failure to cancel or reschedule Stage 2 Supervised Treatment Days with at least 1 months notice will result in the delegate losing their booking fee. Any delegates that have booked onto any of our Level 7 package will be charged a £350 fee for any missed Supervised Treatment Dates not cancelled in accordance with our standard course cancellation terms and conditions.
Level 7 Assessments are graded on a pass/fail basis. Delegates can retake failed assessments subject to our resit fees. SAQ resits are charged at £150 + vat per section (with a maximum charge of £600 + vat for all sections). OSCE resits are charged at £150 + vat per OSCE station (with a maximum charge of £600 + vat for all sections).
We ask delegates not to take any photographs or videos during any of our training courses. Before and After photographs taken for the purposes of your training portfolio remain the property of Derma Medical and are only for use as part of your training record. These images are not available for delegates to use in their own professional portfolios or on their social media / web pages.
