Advanced Thread lifting techniques for the ‘Non-surgical face-lift’ using PDO threads

PDO threads have become a popular minimally invasive alternative to surgical facelift procedures and have given rise to the emerging cat eye, fox-eye. Facial V-line, and snatched jawline trends.

Our one-day DermaMedical PDO cog thread lift training course is perfect for Aesthetic Practitioners looking to further their training in PDO threads and master the art of the non-surgical facelift. The “No Blade Facelift” is a new trend made popular by numerous celebrities recently and it is an excellent and effective non-surgical technique to lift and tighten skin.

In the right hands, it has the potential to redefine facial contours and induces collagen production. The treatment forms part of an integrated support structure for the tissue of the face by encouraging natural collagen synthesis with immediate results that peak at 6 months and last between 1-2 years.

This is an exclusive opportunity to learn how to safely achieve mid and lower face re-volumisation and lifting using one of the highest quality products on the market- MINT™ PDO Threads. The key focus is developing a comprehensive level of technical knowledge of advanced thread lift techniques for the full face (the ‘non-surgical facelift’) using these barbed MINT™ PDO threads.

In this course, we aim to help you master techniques that will set you apart from most routine cosmetic treatment providers and enable you to step into the future of advanced cosmetic procedures.

The theory will cover a comprehensive level of anatomy, consultation and examination, anaesthesia, facial mapping, Thread Vector techniques and learning how to manage complications. You will also be taught how to assess the client from a holistic approach, using a combination of Dermal Filler, Botulinum toxin and PDO threads to achieve optimal results tailored to each patient.

You will perform this procedure on live models under the supervision and guidance of a highly experienced aesthetic practitioner who is also a trained surgeon and certified MINT™ Key Opinion Leader (KOL), Dr Chike Emeagi.

For each model that you see, you will be observed, critiqued and actively taught during the entire consultation and patient treatment procedure.

Please note that if the thread lift procedure is carried out by a healthcare professional, it falls within the Care Quality Commission (CQC) scope of registration, requiring the premises to register with CQC for the regulated activity of surgical procedures.

Thread lifting is a highly skilled minor surgery requiring local anaesthetic, it is not suitable for non-medical professionals. Medical professional students will require full membership of their Regulatory Medical Boards. International delegates are welcome and will also have to verify qualifications and current membership of their Medical Board.
